Nicole has been making films as a writer, director and cinematographer for the last four years. Her practice as a photographer and dramatic training, including a special focus on improvisational acting and directing, have honed her documentarian eye. Both her fictional and non-fictional films explore the intricacies of family and loss with a degree of realism seldom seen in films. Nicole received the 2007-2008 Jack Kuper Award at the School of Image Arts for demonstrated creative potential in film production and writing. Growing up in Burlington, ON, she is a recent graduate of the BFA Film Program at Ryerson University.
